No two clients are ever the same. Whether it’s a sprawling mansion or a one-bedroom condo, your decor is a personal statement that reflects your style, your interests and your own unique vibe.
While the processes may be consistent, everyone wants something different – the high-end art collector, the vacation-homer creating a personal oasis, the young family looking to merge style with practicality. But the end goal is the same – creating a space that feels just right, whether it’s filled with priceless antiques, treasured mementos or the latest high-tech gadgets.
Throughout my 20+ year career, I have lived in Michigan; Washington, DC; Los Angeles and Denver. I’ve designed everything from a 15,000-sq.ft. estate in Franklin, Michigan to a 1,500-sq.-ft. bungalow in laidback Hollywood, California; been published in numerous newspapers and magazines; received multiple industry awards; and been selected to participate in many Designer Showhouses.
I have a B.S. in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University, am NCIDQ-certified, and serve on the board of ASID, the American Society of Interior Design.
That all sounds awfully serious, but in fact design consultation is a fun journey of discovery, innovation, laughter and the occasional glass of wine. Some clients joke that they tell me more than their hairdresser – or even their therapist. It’s a trust I take to heart!
